BUAVA shares concerns
The temporary suspension of the importation and licensing of remotely piloted aircraft systems or drones continues to be a cause of concern for the Barbados Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Association. According to President Charles Pile the restrictions in place for those who have a registered drone on the whole are extremely prohibitive, with new rules being implemented up to last year. Mr. Pile hopes the restrictions can be lifted to allow for local practitioners and creatives to accept revenue making opportunities, monetising their craft and talent.
