Bugiri fish farmers seek ice plant to boost profits
Over 1,200 women in the fish farming business in Bugiri district have asked for the construction of an ice plant that will help them preserve their fish and increase profitability. Immaculate Were, the leader of the Bugiri Women Fish Farmers Association, says if the plant is in place, they would not be cheated by middlemen who take advantage of their inability to preserve fish and offer them low prices. Moses Tabbu, the former manager of the defunct ice plant, says the facility served the districts of Bugiri, Mayuge, Namayingo, and Iganga. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
