Busia district successfully conducted the census night as people willingly gave in the information.

At the Uganda Kenya boarder the commencement of the census night was successfully conducted. The census night had several segments like the truck drivers, floating population like those travelling in buses, institutions, hospitals, prisons among others. Uganda bureau of statistics-UBOS officials say the exercise was successful as all people willingly gave information.
