Business Community Comes Forward To Celebrate Olympic Champion

During Friday’s holiday to honor Julien Alfred, members of Corporate St. Lucia gathered at the Olympic House in La Clery Castries, to present awards, donations and gifts to the Olympic medalist. Then at the Julien Alfred National Celebratory Concert, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre announced that the government would be presenting Alfred with a million dollars along with other gifts in recognition of her Olympic achievements.
