Business takes off at Pelican Village since use as fan zone
Business at Pelican Island has taken off since its use as a fan zone for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup earlier this year. So says Chief Executive Officer of Export Barbados, Mark Hill. He was a guest on Mornin' Barbados, where he confirmed work to redevelop the venue into three distinct zones continues. Zone one is a dedicated space for food and entertainment and also houses the traditional craft village. On Tuesday, New Year's Eve Q in the Community will be held at Pelican Island. Mr. Hill says there will be the usual Q deejays as well as several live performances.
