Businesses urged to be cautious
With today's heavy reliance on technology, businesses are being asked to be weary of third party business relationships and risks. Deputy Director, Bank Supervision Department at the Central Bank of Barbados, Tamara Hurley made the call during the CBB-sponsored forum, 'Not If, But When: Managing Cyber-Risk In Barbados' Financial Sector'. She also called for due diligence in all relationships. Additionally, Ms. Hurley highlighted the need for a cyber risk framework for businesses as a continuous process of ongoing improvements.
