Buyende farmers excited by new seed varieties, expecting to reap big

The new seed varieties that are both disease and drought-resistant, released by National Agricultural Research Organization have excited farmers in the cattle corridor in Eastern Uganda. Farmers in Buyende district have embraced new seed varieties from the National Agricultural Research Organization, after making losses from long droughts in the last season.
