CAC swim team returns with 19 medals

The Barbados swim team is back home after securing 19 medals at the Central American & Caribbean Swimming Championships. The team returned yesterday to fanfare at the Grantley Adams International Airport. Competing on the final night of competition in Monterrey, Mexico, Heidi Stoute won her fifth Gold medal in the Girls 13 to 14 400 metre Freestyle. Also taking Gold was Danielle Treasure, in the Girls 18 and over 200 metre Backstroke. She also won Bronze in the 400 metre Freestyle. Head Coach Dave Farmer was full of praise for the swimmers. Heidi Stoute says she is proud of her performances.
