Cadet Corps officer calls for recognition

A leading officer in the Barbados Cadet Corps wants it recognised as an institution of development for leadership in Barbados. He's captain of the number one Cadet Company at Harrison College Jeffrey Wallace. He made the comment during the review and parade at the Barbados Community College grounds to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Barbados Cadet Corp. He says many of the esteemed leaders within society have received their foundation of discipline from passing through the ranks of the corp. Captain Wallace says the Cadet Corps has risen showing signs of growth having now secured the attachment of over 20 schools in Barbados.
