CAL Launches Martinique Route
Caribbean Airlines has taken a groundbreaking step in regional aviation with the launch of its inaugural service to Martinique. The new service was launched on Wednesday. Caribbean Airlines Chief Executive Officer Garvin Medera described the new route as more than a flight path, calling it a bridge that unites the diverse cultures, people, and opportunities of the Caribbean. The new route was praised for its potential to transform regional collaboration with Ambassador of France to Trinidad and Tobago Didier Chabert. He highlighted how it opens avenues for trade, student mobility, and the celebration of shared cultural heritage, further uniting the Caribbean. Focussing on the economic and strategic value of the new service, Tourism Minister Randall Mitchell emphasized how enhanced air connectivity aligns with Trinidad and Tobago's vision of becoming a premier destination for tourism and trade. He said it will open doors for enterprises and foster cultural exchange. Caribbean Airlines said the new service will offered four times weekly, a total of nearly 300 seats.
