Call to admit wrongs committed against Rastafarians

A regional Rastafari organisation is lobbying for Caribbean governments to recognise and admit the wrongs committed against the Rastafari population. It's the Caribbean Rastafari Organisation Incorporated. Member Steve Reid put forward the plights of the Rastafari Community as he participated in the third session Permanent Forum on people of African descent in Geneva, Switzerland. Mr. Reid says the pursuit of reparatory justice remains a top priority. The organisation also wants Caribbean governments and the CARICOM Reparations Commission to settle on the repatriation point in their ten point plan.
