Call to embrace a regional evaluation culture
There has been a suggestion that Barbados and other countries in the region need to embrace updated mechanisms to evaluate important areas of their cultural development. This from Independent consultant and Secretary General of the International Development Evaluation Association Dr. Lennise Baptiste who was speaking during a book launch. Dr. Baptiste believes this is needed if there is to be any meaningful transformation for Caribbean development programmes. Meanwhile, author of the book 'Strengthening Evaluation Cultures in the English-Speaking Commonwealth Caribbean', Dr. Nadini Persaud stressed it is focused on recultivating a culture of evaluative innovation in the region using a variety of tools.
