Call to make EVs more affordable for citizens

While the Mia Mottley Administration is being praised for its EV revolution, it is being asked to do more to make those vehicles more affordable for the average citizen. The call has come from Professor Christopher Oura, a professor of Viral Virology at UWI St. Augustine. He made the call during a media interview on the sidelines of the UWI Climate Change and Health Leaders Fellowship introductory workshop at the Tamarind Cove Hotel. That workshop examined the connections between climate change and health. Professor Oura notes the participants have a key role to play in the climate change fight.
