Calls for consultation before new crime fighting plans launched

Residents of Morvant and Enterprise say they are optimistic the Government's plan to invest $100 million in crime-fighting will be successful with the right guidance. During the PNM's public meeting last Thursday, the Prime Minister announced that the money would be used to regain control of at-risk communities from criminal elements. The programme has been welcomed, but at least two community stakeholders are calling for proper consultations. CNC3's Shane Superville has more.
