Calls for more women to take up STEM careers

Sunday marked the International Day of women and girls in science. Statistics by UNESCO reveal that despite global strides being made, only one in three researchers today are women. Here at home, the National Research Foundation says between 2016 and 2021, the number of women doctoral students funded by the NRF has increased by 16 percent. eNCA's Kevin Brandt spoke to scientists iThemba LABS to find out more about the work they do. #dstv403
