Can NRM reclaim its lost stronghold bases in Central Buganda to NUP in 2026?

National Resistance Movement- NRM Political Party is strategizing to some of its stronghold bases in Central Buganda Region it lost to a new political party that emerged in 2021 presidential polls, the National Unity Platform- NUP. The NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson, Dr. Tanga Odoi, says one of the strategies is to conduct Party Primaries early. The extent to which this will work is a subject we have sought to analyze.
