Canada’s GST tax break creating holiday headache for some businesses

The Canadian government’s promised GST tax holiday takes effect in just under a week. Businesses are trying to determine which items make the cut ahead of the weekend deadline, and in some cases its proving to be a bit of a headache. While shoppers might be looking forward to the tax break this holiday season, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) says businesses are worried what will happen if they make a mistake.
