Canada supports Ukraine long-range missile strikes, won’t “panic” with Trump admin: Trudeau
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday he was in full support of U.S. President Joe Biden’s decision to reverse policy and allow for Ukraine to use U.S.-made long-range missiles with the capability of striking deep into Russian territory. “I have, for months now, talked about how important it is to degrade the capacity of the Russian military to strike into Ukraine with impunity because Ukraine hasn't been able to strike on factories and military production sites in Russia — we have called for that for a while,” Trudeau said during a press conference at the G20 summit in Brazil. Discussing the potential impact on Ukraine when U.S. president-elect Donald Trump takes over in January, Trudeau said “We're very aware of potential challenges with President Trump coming in, but we're not going to panic.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/10876566/russia-nuclear-doctrine/ Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Like Global News on Facebook HERE: http://bit.ly/255GMJQ Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1Toz8mt Follow Global News on Instagram HERE: https://bit.ly/2QZaZIB #GlobalNews #ukrainerussiawar
