Canada threatens to cut off some US imports if Trump imposes tariffs

US President-elect Donald Trump is doubling down on his threat to impose a 25 per cent tariff on goods from Canada and Mexico. Officials from Canada are fighting back, threatening to cut off some US imports. “We’re going to use every tool in our toolbox to defend Ontarians and Canadians across the border,” Ontario Premier Doug Ford said.
