‘Cannot take everyone’: Peter Dutton facing backlash over Gaza visa ban

Sky News host Paul Murray discusses the backlash towards Opposition Leader Peter Dutton after he called for a Palestinian visa ban into Australia. “Australia is a place that has a responsibility, to yes, have a lifeboat,” Mr Murray said. “A lifeboat that cannot take everyone who needs to get into that lifeboat, we have a certain number of seats. “If people from Gaza pass the test then yes, they should come to the country but the tests of course, they do need to be rigorous, they do need to be higher than what has been set in the past.”
