Cardiovascular care - Uganda Heart Institute innovates latest method of screening

The Executive Director of the Uganda Heart Institute Dr. John Omagino, is urging the government to implement a policy recommending the presence of nurses in all primary schools to detect rheumatic heart diseases in their early stages, where they can be diagnosed and treated effectively. Dr. Omagino made this call during the dissemination of research on advancing cardiovascular healthcare and innovation in Kampala.
