CARICOM voices concern over deteriorating situation in Gaza

Regional grouping, CARICOM is advocating for full compliance with international law as it voiced its concern over the ongoing violence and deteriorating situation in Gaza. The 15-member bloc's position was amplified by Dominica's Permanent Representative to the UN, Dr. Philbert Aaron. He was participating in the UN's General Assembly: 51st plenary meeting, Tenth emergency special session. Dr. Aaron says CARICOM recognises the rights of the Palestinian people to their own state.
