Caroline Kennedy addresses the National Press Club

US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy addressed the National Press Club saying after an "unprecedented" US election all the indications are pointing to "change". "l would like to thank Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his government for the chance to work together to strengthen all aspects of our bilateral relationship," Ms Kennedy said during her National Press Club address. "From AUKUS to combating climate change, we worked hard to protect our critical mineral supply and increased our efforts to improve lives and livelihood in the Pacific. "We gather a week after an unprecedented US election and the indications are all pointing to change – preparing for that change also gives us a chance to think about the continuity that has characterised this alliance for more than a century."
