Cars go up in flames in downtown LA

Cars went up in flames at a downtown LA intersection during a street takeover. Several explosions could be heard as the cars burned, sending thick smoke over the area and backing up traffic at the intersection. Witnesses said dozens of cars were seen in the area before the fire, many being driven recklessly as people set off fireworks. Tire marks could be seen on the street. There were no reports of injuries or arrests.
