Cat missing for nearly 2 months rescued from unexpected place

A cat aptly named Drifter is safe at home after sneaking outside and getting trapped in a sewer for nearly eight weeks! ???? The 3-year-old tabby went missing from his Minnesota home on July 18. He was rescued after neighborhood kids reported hearing meows coming from a storm drain. The feline was 15 pounds when he went missing but weighed just 6.5 pounds after his rescue. The vet says Drifter is “otherwise completely himself” and recovering. ????
