CBC wins 2024 Media Award for the Beach Culture World Tour

The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation beat out several international news organisations, to win the 2024 Media Award for the Beach Culture World Tour. The announcement was made by Barbados International Windsurfer, Brian Talma, at a media conference held at 'De Action Surf Shop' in Silver Sands. Talma says CBC has been supporting his journey throughout the entire tour, as he recapped how the year went. The Lifetime Achievement award went to photographer Darrell Wong from Maui. The Industry Award went to Core Kiteboard and Wing Foiling, while the Destination Award went to Master of the Ocean in the Dominican Republic. Talma says 2025 is set and ready for events locally and internationally.
