The worst floods in Central Europe this century have left hundreds of thousands without power in the Czech Republic. Heavy rainfall caused rivers to overflow in Austria, Romania, and Poland, forcing evacuations. Despite efforts to control the water, dam failures led to widespread damage. Poland's Prime Minister announced $260 million in aid for affected areas, while the historic town of Klodzko faces water shortages and power outages. Residents are salvaging what they can, as Central Europe braces for more floods. Hungary has issued warnings along the Danube, preparing for potential disasters. Al Jazeera’s Assed Baig reports from Klodzko in Southern Poland.
