Chagos Islands dispute: Mauritian PM says agreement with UK not good enough
The newly elected Prime Minister of Mauritius said this week that the deal his predecessor negotiated with the United Kingdom over the future of the Chagos Islands is not good enough. Britain agreed to hand over sovereignty of the islands to Mauritius in order to end a decades-long dispute at the United Nations.
