Charitable trust disburses over $500K to families in need

The Sandy Lane Charitable Trust has disbursed more than half a million dollars to families in need this Christmas season. This has been disclosed by trustee Phillipa Challis. She was speaking during the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust's annual presentation of food vouchers and gifts to families and children. President and Chief Executive Officer of the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust, Dwayne Grazette, says they're happy to be able to help families even though it has been a challenging year financially for the charity. He notes people have been reaching out on a daily basis for support. The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation has once again joined with the Trusts.
