Childcare workers receive 15 per cent pay rise

Verve Communications Prue MacSween says childcare workers have won a 15 per cent pay rise which is being funded by taxpayers. “It’s just bizarre this government will bend over backwards to deliver to the unions,” she told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. “We all wish childcare could be free, we want women to be able to work but the taxpayer – they’re paying people who are earning over $500,000 a year, these subsidies. “This is ridiculous.”
