Chimpanzee conservation - Using culture and community resources to conserve chimpanzees

The Cross Cultural Foundation of Uganda (CCFU) has launched a campaign to preserve habitats and protect areas where chimpanzees live around Bunyoro and Rwenzori in western Uganda. Chimpanzees are one of the most important animals in Uganda's wildlife, with a population of between 3,500-5,000 according to the 2018-2019 animal population census.
