China condemns US delegation visit to Taiwan, urges Washington to stop interference

China has condemned a delegation visit by US officials to Taiwan, urging Washington to stop interfering in the island's affairs. Mr Mike Gallagher - chairman of the House of Representatives select committee on China - arrived in Taipei, along with four other lawmakers. The group met with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen and Vice President William Lai Ching-te during the visit. The delegation is expected to stay until Saturday as part of a larger visit to the Indo-Pacific region. Low Minmin reports from Shanghai.
