China economy: Post-pandemic recovery forecast to slow in 2024

The Chinese government had hoped 20-23 would be the year the world's second largest economy soared after recovering from the pandemic. Instead, it's grappling with a crisis in consumer confidence, and crippling debts in its property sector.
