China to send two giant pandas to a US zoo

China will be sending two young giant pandas to a zoo in the US. The pandas will head to the National Zoo in Washington D.C. after the zoo returned three bears to China just months ago. The bears were given back because of rising geopolitical tensions between the two superpowers, since then there's been increased engagement between Washington and Beijing. A new ten-year agreement was reached for the giant pandas.
