Lafi Pita, a Tuvaluan diplomat who has lived in China and visited cities like Guangzhou with her family, has developed a deep interest in the Chinese language. She told CGTN that for her, Chinese culture is not just knowledge but also a source of life inspiration. Influenced by Lafi, her daughter Lilly Rose is also deeply interested in Chinese culture, especially architecture and festivals. She said China played a significant role in infrastructure projects in the Pacific region and that China's technologies have greatly helped island countries like Tuvalu to tackle climate change.
