But this year, China-U.S. ties face headwinds, especially as the U.S. presidential election looms. We speak to scholars who have an intimate relationship with China from either having lived or travelled extensively within the country. They recognize that good China-U.S. ties can better address global challenges, whether climate change, economic recovery or AI governance.
