Chinese athletes look forward to flag football debuting at 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

From unexpected wins to dramatic upsets, it's been a summer of thrills and spills for Chinese athletes and sports fans. The country left Paris with its best Olympic gold medal showing since 2008, and dominated the Paralympics with over 90 gold medals. It is now already looking ahead to Los Angeles 2028. A relatively unfamiliar sport in China, flag football is one of two sports that will debut at the 2028 Olympics. According to American football officials, an estimated 20 million people in more than 100 countries are currently playing flag football. Lauren Ong reports.
