Christmas Day 2024 weather forecast for across Australia revealed

Sky News Meteorologist Rob Sharpe has examined the upcoming forecast for the holidays with Christmas just around the corner. Much of Australia is facing “perfect” Christmas weather for BBQs, beach trips, backyard cricket and all other outdoor activities, Mr Sharpe said. Across southeast Australia, Christmas Eve is expected to be relatively chilly with temperatures in the 20s. Perth is likely to be one of the hottest cities, with a forecast high of 30 degrees. Meanwhile, in the north, showers and storms are predicted, with Darwin having a good chance of seeing some wet weather. On Christmas Day, the heat will shift into eastern Western Australia and start to build into the centre of the country. Adelaide is forecasted to be one of the hottest cities likely to reach the mid-30s, with a chance of reaching the high 30s.
