City of Aurora set to condemn building with history of code violations, leaving residents in limbo

The city says it's shutting down the 99-unit Fitzsimons Place Apartment Complex over rat and bug infestations, trash piling up and a lack of heat and electricity, but someone who claims to be an investor in the property says the building is being shut down due to Venezuelan gang activity.
