City power extends grace period for electricity customers

City Power says customers who have not yet converted their meters should not panic ahead of Sunday’s Token Identifier rollover deadline. The Joburg power entity has extended the grace period for non-payment of penalty fees to 30 November. It says there’s been an influx of previously non-vending customers at the Service Delivery Centres, seeking assistance ahead of tonight's cut-off date.
