Civil society groups accuse President Ruto of state capture

Civil society groups now say the country is in a worse state than when President William Ruto took power in 2022. Joining other groups that have called out the government for failing in its promises to the people, civil society has accused the President of state capture, saying the legislature has been bent on serving the executive.
