Civil society groups call for collective measures in the fight against GBV in the country

Civil society groups have called for collective measures in the fight against gender-based violence in the country as statistics show that 38% of women have experienced intimate partner violence compared with 27% globally. Speaking in Mombasa during the launch of gender equality and women empowerment strategy while also celebrating the 16 days of activism -they called on the national and county governments to join the fight by formulating policies to end the vice.
