‘Class act’: Kier Starmer ‘hits the ground running’ as UK’s Prime Minister

Former high commissioner to the United Kingdom George Brandis says Keir Starmer seems to have “hit the ground running” as the UK’s new Prime Minister. Mr Brandis described him as a “class act”. “He has dispatched his new defence secretary to Ukraine … to affirm Britain’s support for President Zelenskyy. “He’s relatively new to politics … but he’s very much a professional, he ran a very disciplined, error-free campaign.”
