CLP Northern Territory election triumph came from winning the 'North and the outback'

PR Counsel’s Kristy McSweeney says there was a “lot of other issues” besides crime, amid the CLP winning the NT election. Country Liberal Party (CLP) Leader Lia Finocchiaro has stormed to victory in the 2024 Northern Territory election. “The number one issue there was crime, but there’s a lot of other issues too,” Ms McSweeney told Sky News host Paul Murray. “To win an election in the Territory, you have to win the North and the outback."
