Coalition refusing to give the government ‘a win on anything’

Sky News Political Reporter Andrew Clennell says the Coalition doesn’t want to give the Albanese government “a win” on its PPL reforms. New parents would be able to opt to get cash instead of extra super on their paid parental leave under a new Coalition proposal. “Like with aged care yesterday – how they indicated to the government they were going to support it and now suddenly they are not supporting it – we are getting to the pointy end now,” Mr Clennell said. “We are getting closer to an election and they don’t want to give the government a win on anything.”
