Coalition’s nuclear plan a longer-term solution to net zero

Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie says the Coalition’s nuclear plan is a longer-term solution to net zero. “I think Australians, particularly in the regions … are having to bear the cost of the move to net zero,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News Australia. “We know we need to get more gas into the system … but we also need a longer-term solution, and that is net zero nuclear, which is what we’ve got on the table. “The Bush Summit highlighted those issues.”
