Coalition to unveil $5 billion pre-election housing plan

The Coalition will unveil its plan to solve Australia's housing crisis in a major pre-election announcement. Under the proposal, a $5 billion infrastructure fund will be established to build 500,000 new homes. The amount will be a 'use it or lose it' fund which means it will be terminated if there is no progress on successful projects within 12 months.
