Collapse of Assad regime strengthening Turkey and Israel’s hold on the region

The fall of Syria’s Assad regime has strengthened Turkey and Israel’s hold on the region. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commented on the fall of the Assad Regime. “This collapse is a direct result of our forceful action against Hezbollah and Iran – Assad’s main supporters,” Mr Netanyahu said. “It set off a chain reaction of all those who want to free themselves from this tyranny and its oppression.”
