Colombian government try to stem rise in violence
In Jan, 2025, Colombia saw scenes of brutality unfold as rival armed groups fought over the Catatumbo territory. At least 80 people lost their lives in those clashes, and more than 50,000 were displaced. More than a month later, the government is still trying to quell violence between armed groups.
