Colorado's top court bars Trump from state’s primary ballot for role in Capitol riot
The top court in the US state of Colorado has disqualified Donald Trump from appearing on the presidential primary ballot, for 2024. Colorado's Supreme Court says it barred the former president, because of the US Constitution's clause on insurrection. It is related to his role in the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. The ruling removes the former president from Colorado's presidential race primary ballot. Trump's campaign spokesperson called it a flawed decision and plans to appeal.
